Working as a business agent for 5 years Brent has advised 100’s of businesses across the North East, defining client needs, providing strategic and brokerage advice as well as business sale and acquisition support.

In 2009 Brent bought an owner operated Post Office in and over the next 8 years grew the business significantly, converting extra space to open a new convenience store and buying the unit next door to expand and open a bakery/café. Brent has 1st hand experience of recruiting new staff and grew the total number of his workforce to 11, implementing a business wide sales strategy across all staff.

Brent has worked with numerous businesses around upskilling of their workforce and future proofing/retaining talent. Working together to understand what training/skills gaps were present in their workforce, constructing and implementing a training plan to identify areas of support and upskilling.

Brent has worked with businesses across England assisting them with start up support, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to help them get their business up and running and also understand what different funding options are available to support their growth.
Since joining UMi, Brent has successfully supported a multitude of businesses with their growth plans including;

•    Supporting the business growth of several companies enabling them to double their workforce with 2 clients moving to over 250 full time staff.
