With almost 20 years’ experience working in the business support space and making it easier for SMEs to do more and go further, Phil is well-placed to help you make the right decisions at the right time to grow your business.
Phil has loads of experience advising and consulting entrepreneurs at all stages in their journey, from those just starting out and not sure where to turn first, to more established businesses looking to survive and grow.
Phil left his first career in graphic design in 2003 to take up a Business Support Adviser role at Barclays Bank, and has been working with small businesses ever since. These roles include working as a Small Business Manager with Santander Bank, and as a Business Support Adviser with Business Link North East where he worked with hundreds of businesses from across the North East region.
In 2012 Phil joined UMi and has since held a number of business support roles across the organisation, with his most recent role as a Business and Investment Adviser. In this role Phil has been helping businesses get grant ready, setting them on the right path by ensuring they have their ducks in a row before starting their application journey.

* Consultancy time equates to 3.5 hours for a half day, and 7 hours for a full day. All prices shown exclude VAT.

Initial Appointment

One hour of expert consultancy. This time could be spent meeting with you online to discuss your specific business needs or working independently on agreed actions to help your business.

Meeting online with one of our expert consultants who will work with you to look at all aspects of your business and identify opportunities and challenges to be actioned. Inclusive in this time, following the meeting, your consultant will create a personalised action plan & report for your business, detailing findings and suggested actions for your business.

Half Day (3.5 Hours)
Your appointments can be scheduled across multiple slots as required. The initial appointment will be scheduled by you for 30 minutes. Our expert consultant will meet with you online to discuss your specific business needs, or work independently on agreed actions to help your business.

**By booking any of the above appointments, you agree to proceed with the service and any associated costs. Following completion of the service, you will be sent an invoice which is payable within 14 days.
If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, full payment (where applicable) may still be charged. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise and you may be able to re book your appointment subject to the consultants agreement.
